Story
Every ancient recipe tells the story of people preserving it, with its local flavors, influences, contributions and contradictions. Baklava spread through wide geographical areas taking upon influences of many different local cultures. Belgrade Baklava is a Serbian variation of this dessert - uniquely crisp and dense, with a rich walnut flavor. It's an authentic family recipe of a festive treat you'd get as a guest at a Serbian home 200 years ago. Our baklava represents our rich culture of food, passion for throwing memorable culinary parties, seizing moments of peace, turning them into joy and not taking for granted the ability to gather around a table.
